CONSTRUCTION
Free construction is carried out by our fully trained staff rather than sub-contractors within a 50-mile radius of our workshop in Netherstreet, Chippenham, Wiltshire. Please contact us for delivery charges outside of this area.
All sections are bolted together.
Fixing to the sledge, heavy duty anchor brackets are welded to the sledge and cross beams. We use an 80mm coarse threaded bolt to secure the building to the sledge.
All fixings are fully galvanised.

SLEDGE
Fully galvanised steel sledge 80 x 80 x 5mm & 80 x 40 x 6mm box section under all walls. Anti Flex Gussets are located at the corners? externally for safety. Two 50mm diameter galvanised steel tow bars that can be used at either end. Stronger & safer than straps or chains.
HEIGHT
The eaves measure
Intro and Ideal Range 2180mm, and to the ridge 2945mm, including the galvanised steel sledge.
Elite Range 2520mm, and to the ridge 3285mm, including the galvanised steel sledge.
TREATMENT
All internal and external timber is pressure treated with Tanalith E™ wood preservative for longevity against fungal decay & insect attack. Not including boards.
FRAMEWORK
Intro and Ideal Range 75mm x 50mm C16/C24 stress graded @ 610mm (2') centres.
Elite Range 100mm x 50mm C16/C24 stress graded @ 610mm (2') centres.
Please note that many other manufacturers choose the smaller dimensioned 3” x 2” CLS (Canadian Lumber Standard), which is only 2.1/2”x 1.1/2”. As wood is a natural product, thicker means stronger, and therefore your building will last longer with a thicker frame.
SHIPLAP CLADDING
We only use top quality 5th-grade Scandinavian redwood, fully tanalised for longevity against fungal decay & insect attack.
Ideal Range 16mm x 125mm
Elite Range 19mm x 150mm
ROOF COVERING
Our standard offering is black Onduline with a minimum 15-degree pitch.
Alternatively, you may want an attractive felt shingle roof. Add a touch of originality price on application.
ROOF LINING
Intro Range Roof lining can be fitted as an optional feature.
Ideal and Elite Range lined with 11mm OSB for additional strength and longevity. lined Onduline roof also provides a cooler environment in the summer and warmth in the winter months.
ROOF TIMBERS/PURLINS
Intro Range 100mm x 47mm C16/24 stress graded purlins @ 610mm centres.
Ideal and Elite Range 125mm x 47mm C16/24 stress graded purlins @ 610mm centres. Front/Gutter purlins 150mm x 50mm C16/24 stress graded.
CANOPY
Fully supported by a prefabricated plated truss.
Intro Range Extends to 900mm at the front.
Ideal and Elite Range Extends to 1200mm at the front.
GUTTERING
We use a half round black guttering and include downpipes at both ends of the building.
Intro and Ideal Range Front only. Rear guttering can be added as an optional feature.

KICKBOARDS
Intro Range 11mm All stables are lined to 1220mm high and include noggins to prevent objects dropping behind. As standard, we use OSB moisture resistant (Oriented Strand Board), manufactured to BS5669.
Ideal Range 18mm All stables are lined to 1220mm high and include noggins to prevent objects dropping behind. As standard, we use OSB moisture resistant (Oriented Strand Board), manufactured to BS5669.
Elite Range 18mm All stables are lined to eaves height. As standard, we use moisture resistant OSB (Oriented Strand Board), manufactured to BS5669.
DAMP PROOF COURSE
The DPC is fitted to the underside of all sole (bottom timber) plates.
