We were one of the first companies in the UK to develop mobile timber stables, as a natural progression from our mobile field shelters. Unlike many of our competitors, our Mobile Stables are built to a high specification – so they feature our unique arbour vents and windows that have the proven benefits of ventilation.
The JWS difference is that we designed and built the sledge to take all the stress. It’s made from heavy duty galvanised steel, and is a lot stronger than other makes. We believe it is the right choice to create a robust sledge, rather than reducing the weight of the building and consequently the build quality of the stable!
Our sledge features anti-flex gussets fitted to the outside, which not only stops the stable flexing when you move it, but is also safer for your horse. We fit towing points and anchoring points at both ends, so it is both easier to move and easier to secure to the ground.
Importantly we also fit towbars that can be used at either end of the building, rather than chains, so that when you stop, your building stops. This also allows you the choice of pushing or pulling your stable into place, allowing for inch perfect positioning. Our range starts from a 10’ x 12’ mobile stable, through to a 12’ x 36’. The most popular being two 12’ x 12’ stables constructed on a 12’ x 24’ sledge. This offers plenty of flexibility – however the choice is yours. Just ask for further details.
