Mobile Shelter Specifications Intro and Ideal Range

Construction is carried out by our fully trained staff rather than sub-contractors.

All sections are bolted together.

Fixing to the sledge, heavy duty anchor brackets are welded to the sledge and cross beams. We use a 80mm coarse threaded bolt to secure the building to the sledge.

All fixings are fully galvanised.

We are pleased to offer Free Delivery within a 50 mile radius of our workshop in Netherstreet, Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Fully galvanised steel sledge 80 x 80 x 5mm & 80 x 40 x 6mm box section under all walls. Anti Flex Gussets are located at the corners? externally for safety. Two 50mm diameter galvanised steel tow bars that can be used at either end. Stronger & safer than straps or chains.

75mm x 50mm (3” x 2”) C16/C24 stress graded @ 610mm (2') centres.

Please note that many other manufacturers choose the smaller dimensioned 3” x 2” CLS (Canadian Lumber Standard), which is only 2.1/2”x 1.1/2”. As wood is a natural product, thicker means stronger, and therefore your building will last longer with a thicker frame.

We only use 16mm (5/8") 5th grade Scandinavian redwood, fully tanalised for longevity against fungal decay & insect attack.
